DIZYGOTIC presents a new release in collaboration with Dee & Ricky—the iconic New York design duo celebrated for their Lego-inspired creations that have become staples in both fashion and pop culture. Their work spans collaborations with global brands and fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, and has been worn by high-profile artists including Questlove.

This project, creatively led by Dee, explores the concept of contrast through the theme of Solid vs Pixelation. It serves as a tribute to the Dee & Ricky legacy—showing how things can look alike, yet still be different. The mismatched design also nods to their dynamic as twin artists from Staten Island: Dee’s detail-driven precision contrasts with Ricky’s freer, more unconventional spirit, creating a dialogue about identity, duality, and expression.

The mismatched sneaker design captures this idea. One shoe features precise, high-resolution graphics and embroidery. The other embraces pixelation, using blurred details and visual distortion to create a more abstract expression. Together, the pair forms a conversation about identity, duality, and the space between clarity and concept.

Dee & Ricky and DIZYGOTIC will celebrate the release with a launch party, featuring a showcase of their work spanning nearly two decades, at Studio Busy, a creative studio in Brooklyn, NY, on November 1, 2025.
